The IBBL exists to provide competitive basketball game experience for youth basketball teams, grades 5-8, in Northwestern Wisconsin (geographically a.k.a the Indianhead Region). The league provides two - three games (maximum) per team on selected Saturdays in January and February, generally in a non-tournament format.
Our Philosophy
-The philosophy of the league is to support kids (and their families) who play basketball to
-Have FUN and be with their friends.
-Learn the necessary skills and understanding of the game to play a team sport competitively, which can be a life-long experience.
League Benefits
-All games are played on Saturday.
-Non-tournament format / 2-3 games per team allows more teams to be invited to your gym on game day – generate more concession dollars for your program.
-Truly regional competition equals less travel distance for the teams and their families.
-Cost: One time season league fee vs per tournament fees!
COACHES, PLAYERS, PARENTS, AND FANS: Please demonstrate a good example and display good sportsmanship, win or lose. Your support and cooperation with game officials, tournament directors and other volunteers who are donating their time to provide this opportunity for our young people will be greatly appreciated!
